To use Botanic Base, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple. By creating an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. Maintain the security of your account and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use. Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using the app.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in unauthorized activities.

When you submit content to Botanic Base, including plant photos, reviews, and comments, you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content in connection with providing and promoting our services.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must have all necessary rights to grant us the license. Content must not infringe on any third-party rights or violate any laws or regulations.

Botanic Base provides features including plant identification, collection management, care recommendations, and community interactions. While we strive to maintain high-quality service, all features are provided "as is" and "as available."

Plant care information and recommendations are for general guidance only. Users should exercise their own judgment and research when following plant care advice. We are not responsible for any plant health outcomes or gardening results.

Your use of Botanic Base is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you consent to our collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy, including location data and photo access when permitted.

We use Apple's CloudKit for data storage and implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Botanic Base and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your use or inability to use the app or its features
• Any changes to the service or permanent/temporary cessation of services
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data or content
• Statements or conduct of any third party on the service
• The results of following plant care recommendations

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service or any features or portions thereof without prior notice. You agree that we will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service or any part thereof.

While we strive to provide timely updates about changes, you are responsible for reviewing these terms periodically. Your continued use of the app after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the changes.

The app may integrate with or contain links to third-party services or websites. These third-party services are not under our control, and we are not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.

Your interactions with any third-party content, including weather services and external plant databases, are governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service and delete the app.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
